Jean-Baptiste Launay, known as Jisbar , is a French pop-street artist born in 1989, living and working in Lisbon. His vibrant works reinterpret art history through the lens of pop culture, merging symbols, words, and instinctive techniques to create multilayered narratives. Exhibited worldwide from Paris and New York to Dubai, his art has appeared in major institutions, including the Louver’s La Joconde exhibition. In 2019, Jisbar became the first artist to send a painting into space in tribute to Da Vinci.
