Joseph

Cultural Statements

Following his training in architecture and graphic arts, Joseph found his true passion in painting and design at the École des Beaux-Arts. As a Parisian-born artist, his work is a direct response to the radical political and social upheavals of the 1970s. Fascinated by symbols of global mass culture, Joseph incorporates them into his strongly-worded, statement-making artworks. His bold use of color and skilled technique make his pieces both elegant and powerful.
